Investment Management

Member funds are pooled and invested by our professional investment managers under the guidance of our volunteer Investment Committee. Our Committee members are accomplished in their field, and apply their collective experience and expertise to the careful management of the Foundation’s assets. The responsibilities of the committee include:

• Development of the JCFC’s Investment Policy including investment objectives and asset mix targets and ranges.
• Recommendation for appointment and termination of investment manager(s).
• Evaluating investment manager performance.

Our investment managers are Fiera Capital Corporation and Mawer Investment Management Ltd., two of Canada’s foremost investment management firms.
